Cloudbet fits a punter who already keeps USDT or Bitcoin and wants low minimums, cash out and withdrawals that Cloudbet says are mostly processed instantly. It is a weaker choice if you want to pay in and cash out in naira through a bank, OPay, PalmPay or USSD. The same goes if you expect your first deposit to be matched, or want an app on your phone. Cloudbet names bank transfer for Nigeria only as a way to buy crypto through a partner, and winnings leave as crypto.

Cloudbet’s welcome package is not a bonus credited to your account. Your first deposit, of any amount, switches it on with no opt-in, and for 30 days your bets earn cash rewards up to a cap of $2,500. Cloudbet says the rewards carry no rollover: once claimed, they are cash you can withdraw or stake again.
What you earn depends on what you bet on. Casino bets earn rakeback, set at 10% of the house edge, plus daily cash drops. Sports bets earn neither. Under section 8.4 of the terms they count towards one weekly sports cash drop, and only once the bet is settled. Part of each weekly drop is paid when you claim it and the rest goes into a Cash Vault, which is paid out when the package ends. Cloudbet decides the size of each cash drop from your betting activity; no percentage is published for sports.
The terms start the 30 days at your first bet after the first deposit, while the FAQ on the welcome page counts from the deposit itself. Plan around the earlier date. Friday 1am WAT: the Cloudbet cash drop clock for sports punters
Everything in the package runs on UTC, one hour behind Nigeria. The sports week runs from Friday 00:00 UTC to the next Friday 00:00 UTC, and the weekly cash drop opens at that moment: 1:00 am WAT on Friday. You then have seven days to open it before it expires.
Only settled bets count. A weekend acca placed on Thursday night has not counted when the week closes an hour into Friday, because none of its legs has been played. Not every market qualifies either: Cloudbet marks eligible selections with a gift icon on the bet slip, so look for it before you confirm.
The casino side is stricter. Half of each rakeback payment, and part of each daily cash drop, goes to a Rewards Calendar that opens once a day at 00:00 UTC. Each amount must be claimed within 24 hours or it is forfeited. Cloudbet’s own rakeback example shows the scale: on a slot with a 4% house edge, 10% rakeback returns $4 for every $1,000 staked. Rewards grow only with stakes, so treat them as a rebate on bets you would place anyway, never as a reason to place more.
Deposits and withdrawals
Cloudbet deposits and withdrawals: coins in, coins out
Cloudbet holds balances in crypto only. Its supported coins page lists Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Litecoin, Solana, XRP and BNB among others. USDT is accepted on Tron, BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana and other networks. Send only on a network the deposit screen shows. The minimum deposit is about $1, lower for many coins, and the exact figure is on the deposit screen.
If you hold no crypto, Cloudbet sells it on the site through a partner called Swapped. Its payment methods page lists Visa and Mastercard worldwide and, for Nigeria, NIP bank transfer. This is a purchase of crypto that lands in your Cloudbet balance, not a naira account. OPay, PalmPay and USSD are not named.
Withdrawals go to a wallet address. Cloudbet states that most crypto withdrawals are processed instantly and that some take up to 24 hours. Its fees page charges nothing on deposits and a flat fee on each withdrawal to cover the network cost, shown on the withdrawal page. The terms also reserve a handling charge of up to 5%. Turning winnings into naira needs an exchange or wallet that accepts transfers from betting sites, and that step is outside Cloudbet.
Two rules decide how freely money moves. The first is the playthrough rule: an account that has not been verified must stake 100% of its deposits before withdrawing, and a verified one 25%. Only settled bets count. The second is the $2,200 line. Until you pass Level 2 verification, which asks for photo ID, proof of address and a face check, you can deposit $2,200 in total and withdraw $2,200 a day.

The sportsbook runs from football, tennis and basketball to cricket, boxing, MMA, horse racing and esports, before kick-off and in-play. The standard minimum stake is $0.10. An acca takes up to 15 selections; a selection that ends as a push, neither won nor lost, is removed and the slip is repriced on the remaining legs. Bet Builder combines selections from a single match, on selected leagues and before kick-off only.
Cash out is offered on selected live and pre-match markets, shown by a Cashout button on the bet slip. It cannot be reversed once confirmed, and it applies to all your open bets on the same market together. The cash out guide covers the cases where an early settlement is worth it.
Pulse is a social feed inside the sportsbook. You can follow other punters and copy one of their bets onto your own slip with your own stake, a cousin of the booking code. No-limit bets let you repeat the same bet on popular markets to go past the usual maximum.
On settlement, most football markets are decided on 90 minutes; extra time and penalties count only in markets about who qualifies or lifts the trophy.

Cloudbet app download: there is none, so you use the browser
Cloudbet states that it has no mobile app and that the site is built to work in any phone browser. It also asks customers to report any app carrying its name on the App Store or Google Play, or offered as an APK. So a Cloudbet APK from a Telegram channel or a download site does not come from Cloudbet.
Registration takes an email and password, or a Google or GitHub account, followed by an activation link sent to your email. Cloudbet allows one account per customer, household, IP address and phone number, and its terms require you to open the account yourself.
Licence
Cloudbet’s Curaçao licence: what Halcyon holds and what Lagos does not list
Cloudbet is operated by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., company number 148526, registered in Willemstad, Curaçao. Its terms state licence OGL/2024/328/0599 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, issued on 27 May 2025. It is an offshore licence and not a permit issued by a Nigerian regulator. Betting in Nigeria is licensed state by state, and the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority register lists neither Cloudbet nor Halcyon.
Nigeria is not on Cloudbet’s list of restricted countries. The terms still make it your responsibility to confirm that online betting is lawful where you are, and you must be at least 18.
If something goes wrong, the route is Cloudbet’s. A complaint goes to support@cloudbet.com first and can then be referred to CADRE, an independent dispute service whose decision is binding. No Nigerian authority is part of that process. An account with no login, bet, deposit or withdrawal for 12 months can be classed as dormant. It is then charged $5 a month until it is used again or the balance reaches zero.
