Crypto betting sites in Nigeria: Bitcoin and USDT betting compared

Crypto betting sites accept assets such as Bitcoin, USDT and Ethereum. Some also offer fiat routes, so crypto support does not automatically mean a coin-only account. Compare networks, withdrawal conditions and the operator’s licence; Nigerian availability and local permission need their own checks.

Quick answer

What is a crypto betting site?

A crypto betting site accepts cryptocurrency for supported transactions. The cashier decides usable assets, networks and any fiat routes. A naira or dollar display can be a conversion view rather than a bank payment method. Identity checks can still apply.

What matters

What to check at a crypto betting site

The coin is the easy part. These are the things that separate one crypto site from another.

  • Coins and networks

Each row shows the coins a site takes. A coin can run on more than one network, so match the network the site names before you send.

  • Licence

Find the company and licence named for the account domain you will use. Crypto support alone does not tell you which regulator, if any, covers that account.

  • Sportsbook or casino

A crypto sportsbook prices football and other sports; a crypto casino has games only. The Products column shows what each site offers.

What a crypto betting site is

A crypto betting site accepts cryptocurrency for at least some payments. The account may hold coins, convert a deposit into another balance currency, or offer both crypto and fiat routes. Read the cashier’s conversion and withdrawal rules rather than assuming the balance works like a wallet.

This list groups sites by recorded crypto support, not by licensing jurisdiction. It includes sportsbooks, casinos and sites offering both. Bitcoin betting and USDT betting describe a payment asset; they do not establish Nigerian account eligibility or local authorisation.

Crypto and naira sites are ranked together in the main table of betting sites in Nigeria.

How deposits and withdrawals work

Funding a crypto account takes more steps than paying a naira bookmaker by transfer or USSD, and a mistake is harder to undo.

Making a deposit

  1. Hold the coin in a wallet or an exchange account that lets you send it out.
  2. In the betting account, choose the coin and, where the site offers more than one, the network.
  3. Copy the deposit address the site shows and send the coins from your wallet to that address.
  4. Wait for the network to confirm the transfer; the balance appears once the site has counted its confirmations.

Choosing the network

A coin can travel on more than one network. USDT is the usual example: it runs on several, each with its own address format and its own fee. The network you send on has to match the one the site names for that deposit address. Coins sent on a different network are usually lost.

Network fee and confirmation time

The network charges a fee for every transfer, and the sender pays it. The network fee differs from coin to coin and rises when the network is busy. Confirmation can take minutes or a good deal longer. Deposit limits and minimum withdrawals differ from site to site, so read them in the cashier before you send anything.

Price movement

A balance held in Bitcoin or Ethereum changes in naira terms while it sits in the account, up or down, whether you bet or not. USDT is designed to follow the US dollar, so a USDT balance moves with the dollar against the naira instead. Treat that movement as a cost you cannot control, not as part of the bet.

Withdrawing

A withdrawal is the same journey in reverse: you give the site an address from your own wallet, choose the network, and the site sends the coins once it has approved the request. Where an operator states a payout time, the fast payout list compares it.

Coins accepted at each site

The coins to know are Bitcoin, USDT and Ethereum. This is what each site accepts:

A site may take other coins as well. Each coin has its own list: Bitcoin betting sites, USDT betting sites and Ethereum betting sites.

Crypto sportsbooks and crypto casinos

Sports and casino products are separate from payment support. A sportsbook may take a crypto deposit while recording bets in another currency. A casino-only account has no football markets. Check both the Products column and the balance rules for the account you intend to use.

A casino offers casino games, not sports odds, and every casino game is built so that the house keeps an edge over time.

Offer currencies and account eligibility

A crypto-supported account may advertise an offer in dollars, coins or another currency. The figures below retain the stated denomination; a dollar headline is not automatically a dollar cash balance or a Nigerian offer.

Welcome offers at the crypto sites
SiteWelcome offer
Paripesa100% up to ₦180,000
22Bet100% sports bonus; confirm your campaign cap
BC.Game500% advertised — full terms to confirm
MelbetSports welcome: up to ₦320,000 advertised
Gamdom15% boosted instant rakeback for 7 days (global)
BetFuryUp to US$10,500 + 225 spins (global package)
BitStarzUp to US$500 or 5 BTC + 180 spins (global)
DuelbitsRakeback up to 50% of first deposit (global)
CloudbetUp to US$2,500 in welcome rewards (global)
Wild.ioUp to 350% + 200 spins over 3 deposits (global)

The account’s offer terms decide eligibility, deposit currency, conversion and wagering. A global promotion is not confirmed for a Nigerian account unless the relevant terms establish that. The bonus categories separate offer types for closer comparison.

Licences and regulation

Payment currency does not determine regulatory status. Some Nigerian-licensed operators accept crypto; international brands may name offshore licences. Match the domain and company to the current regulator’s record. An offshore entry alone does not establish Nigerian state permission.

Licences the crypto sites name

BitStarzCuraçao CGA (operator stated) (offshore)
DuelbitsCuraçao CGA (operator stated) (offshore)
CloudbetCuraçao CGA (operator stated) (offshore)
Wild.ioAnjouan (operator stated) (offshore)

An offshore licence means a complaint goes to the regulator that issued it, under its rules, and not to a Nigerian body. Before you deposit, find the licence the site names in its footer and look it up on that regulator’s own website.

Identity checks before a withdrawal

Paying with crypto does not mean the site asks nothing about you. A gambling site can ask for identity documents at any point, most often before a first or a large withdrawal.

Assume it will. Register with your real name and date of birth, and finish any verification the account offers before you deposit an amount you would mind waiting for. You must be 18 or over.

Compare the payment route, not a label

A single operator can offer more than one funding route. Compare the route available in your own account instead of dividing every brand into either a naira bookmaker or an offshore crypto site.

Who crypto betting suits, and who it does not

It may suit you if

  • You already hold one of the coins a site takes and know how to send it on the right network.
  • You accept that your balance will move in naira terms while it sits in the account.

It is the wrong choice if

  • You want only naira deposits and withdrawals, but the account does not confirm a suitable local route.
  • You would need to buy crypto solely to bet, adding transfer fees and conversion decisions.
  • The operator cannot establish the account eligibility, company details or complaint route you need.
  • You are relying on betting to pay bills or replace income.

Options

Coins you can pay with

Each coin has its own list of betting sites and a guide to using it.

Bitcoin

Deposits from a Bitcoin wallet

Send BTC from your own wallet to the deposit address the site shows. The network sets the fee, and a transfer needs confirmations before it counts.

Has its own list of sites

USDT (Tether)

A balance held in a dollar stablecoin

A stablecoin priced against the US dollar. It runs on more than one network, so match the network the site names: coins sent on another one are usually lost.

Has its own list of sites

Ethereum

Paying from an Ethereum wallet

Send ETH to the site’s deposit address. Fees rise when the network is busy, so check the cost before you send a small amount.

FAQ

Crypto betting sites: questions and answers

Short answers. The list and the table on this page hold the figures for each site.

Which crypto betting sites have a sportsbook?

The Products column of the table on this page shows it for every site: a crypto sportsbook is marked Sportsbook, and a site marked Casino alone has no sports betting.

Which coins do crypto betting sites accept?

The coins compared on this page are Bitcoin, USDT and Ethereum, and each row shows which of them a site accepts. USDT runs on more than one network, so send it on the network the site names for its deposit address: coins sent on another network are usually lost.

Can I deposit naira at a crypto betting site?

It depends on the operator and location. Some accept fiat as well as crypto. Check the Nigerian cashier; a naira display or global card logo does not establish a local payment route.

Are crypto betting sites licensed in Nigeria?

Crypto support does not answer the licensing question. Check the domain, company and relevant state register; an offshore licence alone is insufficient.

Do crypto betting sites ask for ID?

Expect to be asked. A site can request identity documents at any point, most often before a first or a large withdrawal, and paying with crypto does not change that. Register with your real details and finish verification early, so that a withdrawal is not held up.

How fast do crypto betting sites pay out?

It depends on how long the site takes to approve the request and on the coin’s network. Where an operator states a payout time, it is shown on the row. The payout score in the table is an editorial assessment out of 10.

18 and over only

Betting is for adults aged 18 and over. Set a deposit limit before your first bet, never chase a loss, and bet only what you can afford to lose. Responsible gambling: tools and support

How this list is put together

This list is built from the same data as the Betbook Table. A site appears only when that data shows it qualifies; a site Betbook has no figure for is left out. Betbook earns commission from the betting sites it lists. That affects which sites are covered and can affect where they appear in the table. Scores are Betbook’s editorial assessment against the published criteria.

Details to check on the operator’s site

  • Welcome offer and its terms, in the operator’s currency
  • Minimum deposit and payment methods, naira and crypto
  • Payout time stated by the operator
  • Products, apps and the licence the site names

The short version

Confirm the route before making a transfer

Use this list to compare recorded crypto support, then check the exact asset, network, balance currency and withdrawal conditions in your account. Confirm eligibility and the company behind the domain separately. If a detail is unclear, resolve it before sending funds.
