How Betbook is paid, what that affects and what it does not change.

Updated · Betbook

DisclosureBetbook earns commission from the betting sites it lists. That affects which sites are covered and can affect where they appear in the table. Scores are Betbook’s editorial assessment against the published criteria.

How Betbook earns money

Betbook is free to read. Its links to betting sites are affiliate links: when a reader follows one and opens an account, the betting site may pay Betbook a commission. The commission is paid by the betting site.

What commission affects

  • Which sites are covered. The sites in the Betbook Table are ones Betbook has a commercial arrangement with. A site without one is not listed.
  • Where sites appear. The order of the table is set by Betbook, and commission can affect it.

What it does not change

It does not change the figures operators publish. A welcome offer, its wagering terms, a minimum deposit and a stated payout time are shown on Betbook as the operator states them.

Scores are Betbook’s editorial assessment against the published criteria. The criteria, the weights and the way the overall score is worked out are the same for every listed site and are set out in how we rate betting sites.

Offers and terms

Offers shown on Betbook are for new customers aged 18 and over, and the operator’s terms apply. Read them on the operator’s own site before you deposit.

Sites that are not listed

That a betting site is missing from Betbook says nothing about it, good or bad. It means Betbook has not reviewed it.
